Catholic Churchs of Barber County

Adoration and Reconciliation Scheduled

Father Mark has established the schedule for the next round of Eucharistic Adoration at each Barber County parish, and this time Adoration will also include the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Eucharistic Adoration offers the faithful the benefit of joining with others in a quiet Holy Hour, where those gathered may engage in private prayer in the presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.  There are many forms of prayerful devotion appropriate during Adoration.  Some choose to pray the Rosary, some spend the time reading the Bible, others engage in quiet contemplation, and some simply sit and keep the Lord company.  For those interested, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops offers prayers and readings for a variety of personal Holy Hours linked on their website here: .

Eucharistic Adoration and Reconciliation will be held at Holy Rosary on Wednesday, February 20, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.  On Sunday, March 10th, St. John the Apostle will offer it for an hour and a half following the 10:30 a.m. Mass.  Finally, Adoration and Reconciliation will be offered in St. Boniface on Wednesday, April 3, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.  Come and go, or come and stay for the entire time, all are invited and encouraged to participate.
