Catholic Churchs of Barber County

Parish School of Religion Begins Soon

Parents of K-12 students from St. John the Apostle in Kiowa, St. Boniface in Sharon, and Holy Rosary in Medicine Lodge are encouraged to enroll their children in their Parish School of Religion for the 2026-2027 school year.  Attending PSR provides students with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of their Catholic Christian faith and to be enriched by it.  In addition, those in the age-appropriate classes will be prepared for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion, or Confirmation.

St. John will hold classes beginning September 20th on Sunday mornings at 9:30, either right before or right after the Mass depending on where the rotation falls in a given year.  Both St. Boniface and Holy Rosary schedule their classes on Wednesday evenings, and this year their classes will begin September 23.

The Medicine Lodge Knights of Columbus will provide a hamburger and hot dog feed for the Holy Rosary students to kick off their new year.

For further information or to enroll your student, please reach out to the director of religious education for your parish.  You will find their contact information here.
